Description Ideal for all wet techniques with watercolor, gouache, and acrylic, Sax's Watercolor Paper is the perfect choice for budding artists or those experimenting with new styles. The 90 lb. basis weight makes this paper perfect for large washes of 1 or 2 colors or for drawing with pen and ink. The cold-pressed (very compressed) surface has a smooth texture that is great for detailed work or light washes and ensures very little pigment penetrates beyond the paper's top surface. The natural white paper has no added optical brighteners and an acid-free construction.
