Susie® Simon® delivers an expanded clinical skill set compared to the Simple Susie® simulator, perfect for spaces that need more advanced clinical training. In addition to all standard patient care capabilities (ophthalmic exercises, oral hygiene, otic procedures, haircare, IM injection, bathing, bandaging, tracheostomy care, and pap smear) this simulator adds advanced procedural training for catheterization, gastrointestinal and enema procedures, nasal and oral tube placement, NG and OG tube feeding, and gastric suction. A realistic urethral passage and bladder support urinary catheterization exercises, and interchangeable genitalia allow the same manikin to be configured as male or female for both urinary and reproductive care scenarios. Detachable and removable internal tanks support fluid-based procedures. Site-specific heart and lung sounds are built in, with a virtual stethoscope option for auscultation training. Soft, realistic skin covers the face, hands, feet, fingers, and toes, and fully articulating joints (head, jaw, elbows, wrists, ankles, and knees) support safe patient handling and positioning practice. The torso bends and detaches at the waist for easy storage. Weighs 45pounds.
