School Smart starter pencils with latex-free erasers feature a 13/32 inch hexagonal shaped barrel perfect for little hands to hold. The hexagon (6 sided shape) is comfortable to use and prevents the writing tools from rolling away. Our non-toxic, lead-free starter pencils make learning to write easy and fun with smooth writing lead. These pencils are made of basswood and do not come pre-sharpened.
