Unlike decorative baby dolls, this deliberately plain simulator is designed to focus students on the responsibility of caregiving. Each simulator cries at preselected intervals throughout the day and night, requiring the student to press the red embroidered heart on the chest to initiate a 10-minute tending period. Once the tending time is complete, the cycle repeats. The simulator cries again, and the student must respond to begin the next sleeping period. The torso contains soft stuffing with an enclosed control box, while the head, arms, and legs are filled with plastic pellets to simulate realistic weight distribution. Intended for students ages 12 and up. This is an educational tool, not a toy. Each simulator is 15 inches tall. Fabric imported. Requires 3 AA batteries per simulator, not included.
