Description

This Adult Venipuncture and Injection Training Arm is made with light skin toned for one version of a realistic patient, and is a highly realistic task trainer designed for health sciences students in grades 9 to 12 to practice venipuncture, IV therapy, and intramuscular injection techniques in a safe, controlled classroom setting. Built with fine anatomical detail down to the fingerprints, this training arm features vinyl skin that rolls naturally under palpation and delivers a tactile "pop" sensation as the needle enters the vein, closely simulating real clinical conditions. Students can practice venipuncture at the antecubital fossa, forearm, and back of the hand, covering all common access sites. The intramuscular injection site includes foam padding to simulate muscle tissue, with natural bonelike landmarks to guide proper technique. Skins and veins are fully replaceable to extend the life of the trainer, and aerosol sealant is available separately to seal punctures and reduce leakage. The arm measures 35 L x 12 W x 6 H inches. Fluid supply stand sold separately. Comes with a 5-year warranty.
