The trainer represents the left foreleg of a medium-sized dog in the sternal recumbent position, and features two interchangeable sleeves - normal fur for routine blood draws, and a shaved area for IV catheter insertion. The replaceable vein system demonstrates actual blood flashback. Great for bandaging and restraint/assistance practice as well. The stable, self-supporting design lets students practice alone or as a team. Perfect for veterinary schools and vet tech programs.
