NeoSCI Simulating Natural Selection Lab Investigation helps students to simulate what occurred in the peppered moth population, as the environment changed in England during the Industrial Revolution. The students are offered with backgrounds that simulate the color of various tree trunks along with peppered moth cut-outs. These students discovered that the tree trunks darkened, the darker peppered moths were more likely to survive and reproduce.
