Description

Waterproof, hand held turbidity meter, or turbidimeter for measuring the loss of intensity of transmitted light in liquid due to the scattering effect of particles suspended in it. Turbidimeters are a key measuring tool for testing water quality. While many particles in a liquid are unable to be seen by the naked eye, a turbidimeter is able to determine the haziness of the liquid by measuring the loss of light transmitted through it.
