Description

United Scientific White Porcelain Streak Plate is unglazed and is ideal for use by mineralogists. It offers resistance to acids and alkalis except for hydrofluoric acid. Glaze softening does not take place till 1000 deg C. The average coefficient of expansion from 20 - 200 deg C is 3.56 x 10-5 with a gradual increase to 4.69 x 10-5 at 1050 deg C to offer thermal shock resistance.
