Introduction to the world of geology through sedimentary rocks! Sedimentary rocks are formed by the deposition and compression of particles of other rocks and minerals. Each Tech Cut specimen is selected and hand processed by an actual geologist, ensuring each sample exhibits defining features. Samples include Breccia, Bituminous Coal, Conglomerate, Dolostone, Greywacke, Gray Limestone, Limestone Chalk, Fossiliferous Limestone, Coquina, Olitic Limestone, White/Tan Limestone and Red Sandstone.
