CPO Science Link Electric Motor Basic Classroom Package includes equipment for six groups of 3 - 5 students. Electric motor module helps to engage your students and boost their understanding of key concepts. Classroom package ideal for the whole class focuses on current, electric motors, electromagnetism, engineering design, magnetism, motor function and voltage. Three-levels of hands-on investigations, classroom-tested equipment, tablet-enabled learning experiences and online multimedia content make it a powerful tool to enhance student understanding. It contains five tablet-enabled investigations that are powered by Exploros. Electric motor helps students design, build and test motors with different configurations of permanent magnets, electromagnets and switching discs. The data collector or timer and photogates provide precise measurements of motor speed, while the multimeter measures the current and voltage of each motor or generator configuration. It meets MS-PS2-3, MS-PS2-5, HS-PS2-5, HS-PS2-6, HS-PS-3-3, HS-PS3-5 NGSS performance expectations.
