CPO Science Link Energy Car Basic Classroom Package includes equipment for six groups of 3 - 5 students. Energy car basic module helps to engage your students and boost their understanding of key concepts. It focuses on acceleration, collisions, efficiency, conservation of energy/momentum, experiments, friction, measuring time, motion on a ramp, Newton's laws, speed, systems, two-part motion, variables and more. Three-levels of hands-on investigations, classroom-tested equipment, tablet-enabled learning experiences and online multimedia content make it a powerful tool to enhance student understanding. It contains five tablet-enabled investigations that are powered by Exploros. Module has various options to allow students to control multiple variables while performing fun as well as engaging experiments. Vary the mass of the cars by 50%, 100% or 150%. It allows to perform elastic/non-elastic collisions, making calculations with friction and measure speed as well as acceleration with precision. It can be set up as a one-meter straight track or as a slope, level combo track and more. It meets MS-PS2-1, MS-PS2-2, HS-PS2-1, HS-PS2-2, HS-PS2-3, HS-PS3-1 performance expectations.
