By positioning between the legs, it prevents legs crossing and helps maintain a natural sitting posture. The abductor also limits forward sliding, keeping the child securely in place for safe, comfortable seating. Its depth-adjustable feature allows caregivers and therapists to set the right amount of separation and support based on each child’s needs. This promotes better pelvic alignment, reduces strain, and improves overall sitting tolerance during learning, therapy, or daily activities.
