Description

Sax acrylic gesso primer makes almost any surface or object paintable. The smooth, easy-to-spread formula helps best prepare an area for acrylic or oil paints. Our liquid primer works on canvas, paper, wood, fabric, panels, and other common materials. The thick, bright white gesso offers good tooth (texture), adhesion (sticking/coverage), and water resistance. For an ultra-smooth surface, rub sandpaper gently between each layer, ensuring that the gesso or paint is dry each time. The formula provides high opacity and solid coverage with 1 or 2 layers; dilute with water for a thinner coat.
