It is designed to accurately cut paper, film, tissue, matte board, cardboard and textiles. Base of trimmer has non-skid rubber feet and an ergonomic, soft-grip handgrip for comfort. The 3/4 inch wood base to provides a permanent, 1/2 inch alignment grid and dual imperial/metric rulers for precise cuts. The hand-operated clamp holds items securely for precise cutting. A finger guard is included to protect the entire length of the blade while the torsion spring avoids blade from accidentally falling during operation.
