Edvotek "PCR Amplification of DNA" Kit contains instructions, PCR EdvoBeads, DNA template and primers, DNA size ladder, wax beads, gel loading dye, ultrapure water, agarose, electrophoresis buffer, InstaStain Ethidium bromide and FlashBlue stain. Kit ideal for 10 groups allows students to make billions of copies of a small amount of DNA in just 90 min. To carry out a PCR reaction, students just require to mix template DNA and primers with PCR beads that contain all of the other components. Students can see the increasing amounts of DNA for themselves, taking samples for every few cycles and analyzing them on a DNA gel. The required supplies to perform this experiment are electrophoresis apparatus, 5 - 50 ul adjustable micropipettes, tips, thermal cycler, microwave or hot plate, UV transilluminator and power supply that are not included in this kit.
