Your students will enjoy learning about the protist Euglena with our colorful model. Euglena are single celled organisms that live in ponds that have features of both plant and animal cells. The model covers all the main parts of these cells: chloroplasts, flagella, eye spot, contractile vacuole, cell membrane, nucleus, chromosomes, mitochondria, rough ER and Golgi. Students make their Euglena model using the colorful parts working alone or in small groups.
