About This Item

Description

Enjoy up-close and personal views of aquatic plant and animal life like never before with the Aquavue Underwater Viewer! Your students can look down the 26 inch long tube (which ensures no surface glare or internal reflection) straight down into water (be that a pond, a tank for science glass, and beyond) to study coral, fish, turtles, and any aquatic life species or forms. Aquascope also works great with Secchi disc (used to measure water transparency or turbidity in bodies of water). Viewer is constructed of neoprene viewing mask, an easy-to-use handle, and crush-resistant PVC plastic tubing with flotation collar. Diameter of tube is approximately 4 inches (or 5 inches with addition of face mask). The Aquavue Underwater Viewer is a perfect plus-one for science, ecology, or biology classes or general use in lakes or other bodies of water.

Features

  • Long underwater viewer is ideal, easy-to-use device for students studying aquatic plant and animal life or when using secchi disks

  • Clear acrylic lens is free from surface glare and internal reflection to provide accurate readings/views and also has gasket to keep water from entering chamber
  • Crust-resistant PVC tubing with flotation collar, handle, and neoprene viewing mask is safe and easy to handle for younger students
  • Long telescope-like design offers easier, extended views than a shorter traditional bathyscope and is the ideal apparatus for use in science curriculum or laboratory settings
