TeacherGeek Toy Design Workshop, Single
Description
Kids create their own unique "pull-toy" prototypes with animated parts that move as they roll! Watch as tails wag, heads bob, hands wave or wrestlers "wrassle." Kids will follow the engineering design process to brainstorm, construct, test, and redesign innovative "toys." From simple machines to linkages and mechanical advantage, kids can explore tons of science and engineering principles as they make and test different designs. The Toy Design Workshop is also an excellent introduction to marketing and entrepreneurship, as kids can develop brand identities, logos, and sale pitches for their creations. Grades 3 – 8+ (different documents for different ages). Some adult assistance is helpful for 3rd-graders. TeacherGeek is not a toy; it’s way better! Kids love making real things, especially when they get to use age-appropriate tools. Kids will need a TeacherGeek Multi-Cutter, TeacherGeek Reamer, and a Phillips screwdriver.Features
