This high-capacity, Cone 10 kiln is ideal for sculpture artists and production potters, meaning it reaches the correct time and temperature for ceramics to reach a cone level. Thermocouples are placed in each section of the kiln to create a more even firing from top to bottom, and its 3-phase design delivers the 208-volt current commonly found in industrial settings in 3 separate waves for more even power. Must be wired directly to a power source to support high amperage. The lid braces on this model employ cams which allow the user to raise and lower the lid without having to take their hands off of the lid handles. The built-in lid lifter makes opening and closing the lid effortless. All production kiln (PK) models are designed for industrial use and incorporate solid-state relays, busbar element connectors, and heavy-duty wiring. Must be wired directly to a power source to support high amperage.
